SGS Holdings, Inc. (operating under the name Hexagon Group of Companies) has taken a significant step forward in the automotive industry with the launch of HEXAGON MOTORS INC. (Hexagon Motors), marking its entry into the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) dealership market. Partnering with the globally renowned Build Your Dreams (BYD) Company, known for its cutting-edge innovation and commitment to excellence, Hexagon Motors is set to revolutionize the driving experience for commuters in the Philippines.
During a ceremonial signing event held last August 8, 2024, key executives from both Hexagon Motors, ACMobility, and BYD sealed the deal. Present at the signing were Hexagon’s Cris P. Gamboa, Gerry P. Lim, and Jervis Sherwin S. Ng, alongside BYD Philippines representative Aiffy Liu and ACMobility executives Bob Palanca, Errol Dueñas, and Gabriel Martinez. ACMobility, the mobility arm of Ayala Corporation, is the official distributor of BYD passenger cars in the Philippines.
Strategically located across SM City Valenzuela, the new Hexagon Motors dealership will feature a three-story commercial building, complete with a café and spacious lounges designed to enhance the customer experience. A three-story service center and warehouse, equipped with ample service bays, will be constructed at the back of the dealership to efficiently meet customer demands and service needs.
Hexagon Motors will showcase the full range of BYD vehicles, including popular models such as the Tang, Han, Atto, Dolphin, and the latest addition to the lineup, the Sealion 6 DM-i. This hybrid compact SUV is expected to make a strong impression with its exceptional design, power, comfort, and cost-efficiency, offering outstanding value for money.
To leverage on the strong demand for BYD vehicles, Hexagon Motors will temporarily lease a space at SM City Valenzuela to begin sales operations in the last quarter of this year.
Hexagon Motors is set to officially open its doors in April 2025, welcoming clients and customers to its newly built office and service center along MacArthur Highway, Barangay Karuhatan, next to Hexagon Premier where AUB is located in Valenzuela City.
