April 30, 2025 — Hexagon Motors, Inc. officially marked a new chapter in its journey with the groundbreaking ceremony for BYD Valenzuela. Held in the heart of Valenzuela City, the event signifies the company’s steadfast commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the advancement of electric mobility in the Philippines.
The milestone event was graced by executives from ACMobility (ACM), the automotive arm of the Ayala Group of Companies. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Bob Palanca, Managing Director of ACM, and Ms. Lovelyn Labrador, Deputy General Manager. In their messages, both emphasized the shared vision of promoting electric vehicle technology and delivering more sustainable transportation solutions to Filipino communities.
Also in attendance were Mr. Errol Dueñas and Mr. Gabriel Martinez, whose invaluable support has helped drive the project forward since its inception.
Mr. Gerry P. Lim, Managing Director of Hexagon Motors, warmly welcomed all guests and highlighted the promising growth prospects of both Hexagon Motors and the Valenzuela community as the new BYD dealership begins to take shape.
To provide an inside look into the dealership project, Mr. Jervis S. Ng presented the story behind Hexagon’s latest endeavor, along with a walkthrough video showcasing the future showroom and service warehouse of BYD Valenzuela.
Capping the program was an inspiring message from Mr. Cris P. Gamboa, President of Hexagon Motors and Executive Chairman of the Hexagon Group of Companies. In his closing remarks, he stated, “We will help in your transition to EV by providing you the most suitable vehicle suited for your lifestyle and for your needs. In that way we will altogether make Go Green Valenzuela.”
The ceremony was further made special with the presence of key Hexagon personalities including Glen Gamboa, Julius Gamboa, Joshua Gamboa, Marilou Morales, and Kriskyril Lapitan, all showing their support for the company’s latest venture.
The program was hosted by renowned UAAP courtside reporter Ms. Apple David and featured an energetic performance by the Guild of Arts dance troupe, adding vibrance to the celebration.
