Warehouse Operations Manager (Bulacan)

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for the entire warehouse operational cycle of the cold storage facility covering inbound receiving, put-away, storage management, inventory control, picking, dispatch, documentation, sanitation, and customer service support.

The role ensures that all warehouse activities comply with Eureka’s Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 9001:2015, GSDP/SSOP, HACCP/FSMS, NMIS/BFAR/FDA regulations, and safety standards. The Warehouse Operations Manager is accountable for operational throughput, inventory integrity, temperature control, WMS accuracy, manpower efficiency, and customer SLA performance.

This position also leads 24/7 operational readiness, system-driven processes via Chronos WMS & NetSuite, and implementation of all SOPs across operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and manage end-to-end warehouse operations: inbound, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, staging, and dispatch.
  • Ensure 100% execution of daily operational plans based on volume forecasts and customer orders.
  • Implement FEFO/FIFO, temperature monitoring, pallet condition checks, and stock integrity.
  • Maintain optimal loading bay scheduling, truck turnaround, and volume throughput.

Quality, Food Safety, QMS & Regulatory Compliance

  • Enforce all warehouse SOPs, work instructions, and QMS-controlled forms
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SSOP, FSMS, and sanitation programs.
  • Ensure readiness for internal/external audits: QMS, NMIS, BFAR, FDA, DOLE, LGU.
  • Ensure proper MIC/COMI handling and documentation integrity. 2.5. Promote safety, discipline, hygiene, and PPE compliance at all times.

WMS (OpsTrack) & ERP (NetSuite) Operations

  • Ensure strict scanning compliance for receiving, put-away, cycle count, picking, loading, stock transfer, and documentation.
  • Validate task creation, task completion, and real-time inventory data accuracy.
  • Lead root-cause analysis for system variances, errors, or operational deviations.
  • Coordinate system issues, updates, and enhancements with the IT/WMS Administrator.

Inventory Control & Stock Integrity

  • Oversee cycle counting, blind counts, and wall-to-wall inventories.
  • Monitor discrepancies and implement corrective actions using the CAPA process.
  • Ensure accurate handling of expiry dates, lot codes, batch codes, VQMILC/COMI linkage.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.

Manpower Planning, Development & Supervision

  • Manage all operations personnel across 3 shifts.
  • Prepare weekly manpower schedules, deployment plans, and workload assignments.
  • Evaluate performance, provide coaching, and enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate skill development for supervisors, operators, and warehouse associates.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce compliance with DOLE-OSH standards, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
  • Conduct regular toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and hazard identification.
  • Ensure incident, accident, and near-miss reporting and corrective actions.
  • Support emergency response, fire drills, and business continuity exercises.

Food Safety & Quality Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOP, GMP, GSDP ISO-aligned QMS requirements.
  • Coordinate with QA on inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper handling of non-conforming products and temperature deviations.
  • Maintain traceability, recall readiness, and sanitation controls.

Cost Control & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor operational costs including labor, consumables, and handling expenses.
  • Drive productivity improvement, waste reduction, and process optimization.
  • Implement best practices in cold storage operations and automation readiness.
  • Support capacity planning and operational scaling.

Customer & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Ensure adherence to customer SLAs and service level expectations
  • Coordinate with Customer Service on scheduling, exceptions, and escalations.
  • Support customer audits, site visits, and operational reviews.
  • Act as key operations contact for clients, transporters, and vendors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Experience in cold storage operations is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with WMS/ERP systems (Chronos, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Manhattan, etc.).
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and QMS documentation.
