Training Associate

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

HR Associate for Training and Recruitment works efficiently to make sure the hiring process and training events are well planned and will be successful. The position helps facilitate the hiring process. The position contributes to the administration and coordination of training functions and events.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Duties:

Training

  • Coordinates with in-house subject matter experts for New Employee Orientation
  • Conducts New Employee Orientation to all new hires.
  • Creates training decks/modules based on Learning Development Plan.
  • Manages and implements public and in-house programs.
  • Conducts training on both face-2-face and different virtual platforms.
  • Collates suggested training programs for training interventions from the Learning Development plan.
  • Handles communication and course requirements to and from the participants and/or clients and the resource person.
  • Prepares for the after event (post training report, evaluation summary).

Recruitment

  • Schedules interviews with candidates and arranging other interview platforms (e.g. Google Meet, Zoom, etc.) for candidates who are out of town
  • Interviews candidates to assess qualifications and experience, as well as to determine cultural fit with the company culture
  • Communicates with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure they are aware of next steps in the hiring process
  • Prepares reports about candidates’ qualifications and interview performance for managers’ review

Administrative Duties:

  • Keeps an updated in-house and external training calendar
  • Ensures that all training equipment are ready for use when needed
  • Prepares training logistics and supplies
  • Gathers relevant input/information (logistics, materials, facilities, equipment) before, during and after the course delivery.

Other Support Duties:

  • Supports business units with training and recruitment needs

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of BS/BA in Psychology, Education or related field
  • 1 year of HR Recruitment experience
  • 2-3 years of Learning and Development experience
  • Familiarity with training design
  • Position requires travel to different locations depending on training needs
