The main role is to drive sales growth by developing and acquiring new volume and revenue-generating accounts, while also maintaining solid relationships with existing customers. The role also involves understanding customer requirements, promoting products, achieving sales targets, attaining collection targets and providing excellent customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, develop and acquire new volume and revenue generating accounts while maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers, including Traders/dealers, Food Service and Supermarkets.
- Negotiate favorable deals and contracts with clients.
- Understanding customer requirements and providing product recommendations.
- Achieving and/or exceeding monthly sales and collection targets.
- Providing exceptional customer service by immediately attending to customer inquiries or addressing their concerns.
- Submitting updated weekly reports needed by the Sales Manager.
- Preparing suitable product presentations for prospects, and new and existing customers
- Monitoring status of client’s order from encoding, invoicing up to delivery of stocks to the client.
- Coordinating with other departments such as Sales Admin and Logistics to ensure smooth flow of operations.
- Assists on collections and submission of product samples.
- Reconciling floating balances on clients A/R.
- Develops a strong understanding of the company’s products and their applications.
- Monitoring competitor’s activities, including market/industry trends.
- Providing feedback to management on customer requirements and market opportunities.
MINIUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree graduate in Business Administration or any relevant field
- At least 5 years sales experience in handling food service accounts. Background on frozen products is an advantage but not a must.
- With at least 3 years work experience as Key Accounts Officer, or atleast 5 years work experience as Sales Executive or equivalent
- Ability to analyze sales data, market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities
