MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- Attend to work order requests and concerns of SDC tenants and business units..
- Assist Service Technician II on the implementation of facilities services and projects as required.
- Conduct of the AC preventive maintenance services on existing clients based on the approved schedule.
- Assist on service requests of SDC managed properties.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical assistance on the completion of work order requests by Business Units and other building tenants submitted to the Engineering Services Department and/or Property Management Office.
- Perform assigned works on technical services and projects acquired by the Department.
- Assist in the conduct of preventive maintenance of Air Conditioning Units of existing clients based on the agreed schedule and scope of works.
- Performs some duties of the Engineering Technician I as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
- Reports to Engineering Manager and/or Building Manager any noted defects on the equipment, incidents and action taken to rectify the matter and implements instructions from Engineering Manager and/or Building Manager on matters that require immediate attention.
- Assist in the conduction of testing and commissioning of equipment, troubleshooting and application of corrective actions on requested services.
- Prepare tools and equipment needed for the completion of projects, activities and services assigned by the Engineering Manager and ensure to have an inventory after every project.
- Conduct safety inspection in the workplace prior implementation of tasks and activities based on the work plan and scope of works provided by the Engineering Manager.
- Prepare Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate for the conduct of day to day activities or projects.
- Ensure housekeeping of the working area day-to-day basis after completion of activities assigned.
- Accomplish instructions, projects and improvements assigned by the Engineering Manager.
- To follow all approved safety procedures and practice job etiquette
- Knowledge on Civil/Architectural works & Painting works
- Electrical works such as feeder line installation, troubleshooting and repair, Specially on EV Charger Installation
- Mechanical and Plumbing works related to water line and air-conditioning equipment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 6 months to 1 year relevant experience in building maintenance, repair, and facilities management preferably on high rise buildings
- At least vocational diploma/short course certificate in Air Conditioning/HVAC technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Electro-mechanical, Welding or any related courses
- Basic Electrical Installation, Troubleshooting and Safety
- Basic Air Conditioning System (Installation, Troubleshooting and Repair and Maintenance)
