Electro-Mechanical Technician / Field Service Technician

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

  1. Attend to work order requests and concerns of SDC tenants and business units..
  2. Assist Service Technician II on the implementation of facilities services and projects as required.
  3. Conduct of the AC preventive maintenance services on existing clients based on the approved schedule.
  4. Assist on service requests of SDC managed properties.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide technical assistance on the completion of work order requests by Business Units and other building tenants submitted to the Engineering Services Department and/or Property Management Office.
  2. Perform assigned works on technical services and projects acquired by the Department.
  3. Assist in the conduct of preventive maintenance of Air Conditioning Units of existing clients based on the agreed schedule and scope of works.
  4. Performs some duties of the Engineering Technician I as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
  5. Reports to Engineering Manager and/or Building Manager any noted defects on the equipment, incidents and action taken to rectify the matter and implements instructions from Engineering Manager and/or Building Manager on matters that require immediate attention.
  6. Assist in the conduction of testing and commissioning of equipment, troubleshooting and application of corrective actions on requested services.
  7. Prepare tools and equipment needed for the completion of projects, activities and services assigned by the Engineering Manager and ensure to have an inventory after every project.
  8. Conduct safety inspection in the workplace prior implementation of tasks and activities based on the work plan and scope of works provided by the Engineering Manager.
  9. Prepare Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate for the conduct of day to day activities or projects.
  10. Ensure housekeeping of the working area day-to-day basis after completion of activities assigned.
  11. Accomplish instructions, projects and improvements assigned by the Engineering Manager.
  12. To follow all approved safety procedures and practice job etiquette
  13. Knowledge on Civil/Architectural works & Painting works
  14. Electrical works such as feeder line installation, troubleshooting and repair, Specially on EV Charger Installation
  15. Mechanical and Plumbing works related to water line and air-conditioning equipment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 6 months to 1 year relevant experience in building maintenance, repair, and facilities management preferably on high rise buildings
  • At least vocational diploma/short course certificate in Air Conditioning/HVAC technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Electro-mechanical, Welding or any related courses
  • Basic Electrical Installation, Troubleshooting and Safety
  • Basic Air Conditioning System (Installation, Troubleshooting and Repair and Maintenance)
