Admin/Utility Staff

The Utility Personnel is responsible for the smooth functioning of the office by managing office supplies, maintaining facilities and equipment, and providing administrative support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Releases office supplies from the stockroom based on approved Supplies Requisition forms on a weekly basis.
  • Ensures timely replacement and schedules replenishment of office supplies.
  • Reports any noted defects on equipment, facilities, and furniture to the Admin Officer.
  • Attends and remains present during pest control, preventive maintenance of air conditioning systems, and other scheduled maintenance activities within the office premises.
  • Ensures timely replacement of water filter stages 1 and 2.
  • Cleans the water dispenser at the head office regularly.
  • Provides administrative support to the warehouse premises, including cleaning and arranging supplies and furniture.
  • Answers, screens, forwards, and endorses all inquiries professionally and courteously in person or on the telephone during break time, acting as a reliever for the receptionist.
  • Performs cleaning activities and ensures cleanliness of areas within the company premises, such as hallways, restrooms, pantry, conference rooms, and working areas, in accordance with the set cleaning schedule.
  • Assists in the distribution of incoming and outgoing packages or mail, including post, letters, document transmittals, memos, couriers, and tokens.
  • Performs messenger and field functions as needed in the absence of the company messengers, such as purchasing materials for repairs/maintenance, bank transactions, and document transmittals.
  • Provides support and assistance during company activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Vocational Course/ Certificate from Training Institutes related to electrical, electronics or equivalent field
  • Previous experience as a utility worker.
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks.
  • Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with colleagues and visitors.
