About the role
The Group Accountant is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Group in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS). The role focuses on consolidation, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting across multiple entities. The successful candidate will also support ongoing improvements in financial systems, data integrity, and reporting processes, including the use of ERP systems such as NetSuite and Google Sheets-based reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with PFRS
- Perform intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, and consolidation adjustments
- Review financial reports submitted by business units to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Ensure alignment of accounting policies and treatments across all entities
- Handle consolidation issues such as foreign currency translation and intercompany variances
- Prepare supporting schedules and reports for internal and external audit requirements
- Review and analyze trial balances and financial statements from subsidiaries
- Maintain and monitor the Group Chart of Accounts (COA) and mapping across entities
- Prepare Group reporting packages and management reports using Google Sheets
- Support external and internal audits by preparing schedules and documentation
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in consolidation, reporting, or audit
- Experience in handling multi-entity accounts is required
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and Philippine Financial Reporting System and related tax laws
