Responsible for ensuring bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements with related schedules and other reportorial requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares, records, reconciles accounting transactions and maintains the books of accounts.
- Prepares external financial statements and related schedules – monthly, quarterly and annually
- Handles the mandated reportorial requirements of the assigned business units with the BIR, SEC, LGU and other government agencies
- Assists in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits
- Liaises and represents business units to BIR, SEC, LGU and other government agencies
- Assists in the initial/renewal/amended registration of new/existing business units with the BIR, LGU and other government agencies
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related course
- At least one (1) year of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Apps
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Willingness to travel/do field work
