Accounting Assistant (Bookkeeping)

Responsible for ensuring bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements with related schedules and other reportorial requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares, records, reconciles accounting transactions and maintains the books of accounts.
  • Prepares external financial statements and related schedules – monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Handles the mandated reportorial requirements of the assigned business units with the BIR, SEC, LGU and other government agencies
  • Assists in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits
  • Liaises and represents business units to BIR, SEC, LGU and other government agencies
  • Assists in the initial/renewal/amended registration of new/existing business units with the BIR, LGU and other government agencies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related course
  • At least one (1) year of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Apps
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Willingness to travel/do field work
