Sales Executive

There are six (6) areas covered by the Sales Executive(s), namely:

  • Sales Achievement
  • Customer Service and Development
  • Vertical Distribution
  • Horizontal Distribution
  • Accounts Management
  • Collections and Account Receivables

The role of Sales Executive(s) is primarily to act as a team player in achieving sales and revenue or volume targets through plans and strategies as defined by the company and the Sales and Marketing Team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Six (6) Areas of Focus:

  • Sales Achievement – volume and value
  • Ensure the attainment of assigned sales targets – for volume or sales and revenue.
  • Provide insights on market opportunities available and trends to support the achievement of the company’s sales target in any possible changes in the market.
  • Perform tasks related to placement of customer orders to the system used (ORACLE NetSuite) and may perform order fulfillment and invoicing if necessary
  • Create Leads and Customer Records as needed
  • Works well with the Sales Admin (Sales Coordinator) for the smooth delivery of customer orders
  • Perform other tasks according to business goals and objectives.

Customer Service and Development

  • Ensure all related concerns of the customers are addressed in a timely manner and must lead to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Support the growth of the customers’ business through continuous supply and highest quality of service possible.
  • Coordinates and works together with Sales and Logistics Assistant to prepare and submit samples for customer approval.
  • Perform other tasks according to business goals and objectives.

Vertical Distribution

  • Make sure all opportunities with the customers are explored.
  • Must work on achieving the highest level of efficiency on logistics and delivery costs.
  • Perform other tasks according to business goals and objectives.

Horizontal Distribution

  • Develop new accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Identify most potential customers that would bring significant impact on achieving the agreed targets.
  • Perform other tasks according to business goals and objectives.

Accounts Management and Trade Relationships

  • Work towards long-term established business relationships with customers post-sale.
  • Manages customers’ product needs – volume and supply – and aligns the needs with Inventory and Warehouse through the Sales and Logistics Assistant.
  • Address all issues of the customers in a timely manner and provide resolutions and actions the fastest way possible.
  • Perform other tasks according to business goals and objectives.

Collections and Account Receivables

  • Ensure that accounts being covered conform to their approved credit limits and payment terms.
  • Must provide immediate feedback on the financial status of accounts whenever needed.
  • Conduct collections and remits all collections as provided on the Accounts Receivables guidelines.
  • Works well with Finance and Admin for the efficient collection of receivables with customers
  • Perform other tasks according to business goals and objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree of any business-related course
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in sales operations or sales admin – in food industry (preferred industry or line of business but not required)
  • Must be flexible in work locations or site assignments as required and according to business goals and objectives
