Hexagon Corporate Center is SGS Holdings’ venture into commercial leasing and will soon be the new site of the company’s corporate headquarters. The new facility also represents the company’s commitment to elevating corporate image and standards, improving efficiency levels, and raising company people morale to pave the way for other strategic options in the future. The project broke ground in September 2015 and topped off this April last. Full completion is slated in last quarter of the year.
One of the newest vertical developments in Quezon City, Hexagon Corporate Center rises 16 stories high in the commercial hub of Quezon Avenue. The building site is in the immediate vicinity of major commercial and retail centers such as Fisher Mall, Trinoma, and Crossings Mall, and is just a few ticks away from SM City North Edsa. The building is a mixed-use facility with an aggregate floor area of more than 30,000 square meters.
The lower floors offer commercial and retail areas for lease, thus providing the consuming public another alternative venue for dining, banking, shopping, and recreational activities and franchises and retailers, another source of business. These floors together comprise
roughly 1,800 square meters of lease-able retail space.
The upper offers office spaces for lease to corporate clients. Minus those to be occupied by SGS’ own office headquarters, the building has six floors of office spaces with a total area of approximately 8,000 square meters for lease to external tenants.
At its roof deck, the building features a function hall, the Don Simplicio Gamboa Sr. Hall named in honor of the company’s founder. The function hall covers a floor space of 535 square meters, equipped with full audio-visual capability, and can accommodate more than 300 guests. It is thus a perfect venue to hold major events such as conferences, seminars, anniversary celebrations, and product launches.
Also a potential location of Business Process Outsourcing and IT-based operations, the Hexagon Corporate Center is equipped with the necessary support infrastructure such as high speed telecommunication, internet, and international gateway facilities, as well as computerized security, building monitoring, and maintenance systems. The building’s back-up generators are installed with ample capacity to ensure uninterruptible power. Furthermore, solar panels are installed on the rooftop to allow the building to utilize renewable energy.
Parking will not be a problem. The building has a total of 265 parking slots, compliant with the Local Government’s requirement of 1 slot per 50 square meters. Parking is housed at the underground levels for use of retail operations, and at the upper deck levels for corporate office tenants. The parking facility on the third level is designed with ample headroom for the installation of mechanical parking facilities should the need to expand parking capacity arise in the future.
