The Finance Manager is responsible for performing highly specialized accounting work.
- He/she directs and coordinates the daily activities of the department to quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities of the business
- He/she is also responsible for the finalization of annual financial statements and coordinating the Company’s annual audit.
- He/she is responsible in analyzing, measuring interpreting and communicating financial Information to the top management.
- Prepares, provides assistance in the budget preparation of the companies thereby interprets results of variances for management information.
- Provides interpretation of cash flow statements to be able to understand the cash impact of various business decisions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Duties:
- Provide top management of the following analysis;
- Horizontal, vertical, Short term, and Long term analysis of the Financial Statements
- Stock and Receivables Ageing and turnover
- Provide graphical presentation of company’s performance
- Report financial information in an accurate and timely manner, prepare and provide financial reports to external agencies if required.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures and goals for the assigned areas.
- Develop, implement and monitor internal controls.
- Monitor emerging technology to determine ways to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability
Administrative Duties:
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
- Actively participate in all company functions as may be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in BS Accounting, Accounting Information System or similar course
- With at least eight (8) years relevant experience in general accounting or financial accounting gained from similar industries, accounting firm or manufacturing companies.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and Phil Financial Reporting System and related tax laws.
- Computer literate on MS office packages or Google.
