Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is responsible for performing highly specialized accounting work.

  • He/she directs and coordinates the daily activities of the department to quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities of the business
  • He/she is also responsible for the finalization of  annual financial statements and coordinating the Company’s annual audit.
  • He/she is responsible in analyzing, measuring interpreting and communicating financial Information to the top management.
  • Prepares, provides assistance in the budget preparation of the companies thereby interprets results of variances for management information.
  • Provides interpretation of  cash flow statements to be able to understand the cash impact of various business decisions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Duties: 

  • Provide top management of the following analysis;
    • Horizontal, vertical, Short term, and Long term  analysis of the Financial Statements
    • Stock and Receivables Ageing and turnover
    • Provide graphical presentation of company’s performance
  • Report financial information in an accurate and timely manner, prepare and provide financial reports to external agencies if required.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures and goals for the assigned areas.
  • Develop, implement and monitor internal controls.
  • Monitor emerging technology to determine ways to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability

Administrative Duties:

  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Actively participate in all company functions as may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in BS Accounting, Accounting Information System or similar course
  • With at least eight (8) years relevant experience in general accounting or financial accounting gained from similar industries, accounting firm or manufacturing companies.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and Phil Financial Reporting System and related tax laws.
  • Computer literate on MS office packages or Google.
