Being able to give the gift of education is probably one of the demonstrable actions of this pursuit. Having the same vision of providing opportunity for a better life for the youth through education, a memorandum of agreement between two companies has been formally sealed at the Hexagon Corporate Center last May 31, 2019 (Friday). The Hexagon Group of Companies’ Simplicio Gamboa Sr.(SGS) Foundation, Inc. officially pledged to fund the education of deserving students from Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU).

This year, a total of 20 OLFU students were granted for the SGS scholarship: 8 grantees from OLFU Antipolo Campus, 5 grantees from OLFU Quezon City Campus, and 7 grantees from OLFU Valenzuela Campus.

“We want to share our blessings,” Perseverando L. Cruz, one of the foundation’s trustees, said during the signing.

President Edward Joseph M. Vitug and Immediate Past President Perseverando L. Cruz were the SGS officials who were present during the signing. SGS Foundation Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Bonnie C. Gamboa, also dropped by to have a conversation with the OLFU officials.

Dr. Caroline S. Enriquez – OLFU President, Dean Ramonita A. Salazar, Quezon City Campus Administrator, and Engr. Wilfredo M. Basilio, Antipolo Campus Administrator, were also present during the said event.
