Accounting Manager

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

To lead and manage the external corporate services department and ensure compliance to all government reportorial requirements for all unit companies

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Duties: 

  • To ensure timely compliance of all government reportorial requirements
  • To ensure periodic preparation and timely payments of all units’ tax compliances
  • To ensure timely compliance of all units requests, inquiries, documentation, government certifications and accreditations
  • To make representation with government bureaus in their conduct of mandatory annual tax examinations (BIR, Local Gov’t)
  • To undertake related tasks as assigned from time to time

Administrative Duties:

  • Ensure timely submission of reports
  • Timely evaluation of staffs
  • Undertake other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Other Support Duties:

  • Assist HRA department in what company, newly hired will be assigned for benefits and tax purposes
  • Spearheads the External Corporate Services Department in ISO program
  • Annual preparation of budget and service plan
  • Attends periodic seminars to keep pace in constant update with regulations and update team of such

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • At least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Knowledge of financial recordkeeping procedures, laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Willing to travel or do field work if needed
