Worthwhile – Myra Antonette D. Oscianas

On December 22, 2018, we, the SGS Foundation scholars who are enrolled in colleges in Bacolod and other cities in Negros Occidental, together with our Bacolod Officer-In-Charge, Dr. Lily Go, went to The Bacolod Girls’ Home Foundation Inc., a home for orphaned and abandoned girls. We celebrated Christmas together with the girls at the Home. It is not just our typical annual Christmas “get together,” but it is also our annual outreach activity.


SGS Enters New Horizon: Signs MOA with Partner Schools -LCC and MQCQC

Strengthening the relation of Simplicio Gamboa Sr. (SGS) to the two(2) schools named Mary The Queen College of Quezon City ( MQCQC), and La Conception College ( LCC ); SGS foundation conducted a signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with its school and/or university affiliates.


Improving One’s Self Through Seminars and Workshops

Attending seminars and workshops has numerous benefits, including improving communication skills, gaining expert knowledge, networking with others and renewing motivation and confidence. Simplicio Gamboa Sr. Foundation not just supports its scholars financially but also academically for us students to be more equipped with knowledge, skills and confidence in battling for our future.


Yuletide Circus 2018

2018 was filled with a lot of challenges and new upbringings to most of us. I mean, who doesn’t have anything eventful in a year? Every year has its own surprise, and to my surprise, our foundation coordinator announced that we’re going to have a Christmas circus-themed party! It brought a lot of excitement and impressions with this extravagant theme for a Christmas party. It sounded quite new to my ears, though.
